This is the second session I had with this young lady. You may remember her from her beautiful portraits at the Lincoln Memorial last year. I love seeing how my young clients have changed since we last met. It is always an honor to work with families over the years, to see them grow. More of this fun family session in Old Town. We met on a weekday morning in December which made for quiet streets, and as an added bonus it was a particularly mild winter day. This little boy was so happy for the entire session. He had us all giggling. Great session!
Another session from December. I photographed this family last year, but since we had last met they had a sweet little boy. It was a cozy morning morning spent inside their home, just hanging out. One of my favorite kinds of sessions!
I’m getting back to blogging after a bit of a hiatus. I’ve got many images yet to share. I’m starting with some from my last session of 2009. The week before Christmas, a few days before our first big snow of the season, I had a fun morning with this little lady. It was a delightful morning of documenting her favorite activities: tea parties, dress up, coloring, and giggles. Enjoy! –Sally

And every post should have a picture. So here’s an image from a family session last month at Ft. Hunt Park. I just love the sibling interaction in this one. I’d love to know what her big brother is telling her. 
Here are a couple of portraits from Sean and Elizabeth’s wedding last Saturday. It was such a pleasure to be a part of their day. We had amazingly mild weather for mid-November so we were able to get some great outdoor portraits (without turning blue from the cold). More to come!
