These two are newly engaged and wanted to do some pictures down at the Jefferson Memorial. The morning we met the sun was shining brightly and we had beautiful crisp spring weather. They were naturals for the camera and had a very effortless quality of being with each other. It made my job so easy and fun! I have a lot of favorites and I can’t put them all in, but here are some. All these little hints of spring weather are making me anxious for summer (my favorite season). I’m planning a little vacation for this summer in the Rehoboth beach/Ocean City, MD area. If you would like to schedule a beach session let me know.
Last month I met up with this couple to take some casual portraits around the Jefferson Memorial. It is probably my favorite monument for portraits. There are so many wonderful areas around it, not to mention the monument itself is pretty fantastic. All that marble and the columns! Though we did get to the Jefferson, I’m posting images from our walk around the monument. I had a wonderful time! Enjoy, Sally

I love how this shot turned out. We were underneath 395 and it was so grimy, but the light and shadows were so lovely.
