Inchmark Homemade Photobooth

Last month one of my favorite blogs posted this idea for a homemade photobooth.  What a great idea for those afternoons when it it too cold outside to play.  I’m definitely going to try this with my little ones.  Perhaps it will make a showing at our next birthday party too!  Enjoy, Sally

Cold Autumn Day | Alexandria, Virginia Family Photographer

I met up with this family on a very, very cold and windy day in November.  I think it was the coldest day we had seen so far that fall.  We did our best to stay warm, drinking a lot of hot cocoa.  They did so great!  Thank you for braving the cold weather!  Enjoy! –Sally

New Little Sister | Maryland Family Photographer

Still doing catch-up from this fall.  Here is a session I did in early December.  It was a very cold morning so we stayed inside where it was warm and cozy.  I loved watching this family enjoying their new baby girl.  Big Sister was so charming, and she had some gorgeous brown eyes.  Enjoy! –Sally

Morning at Mt. Vernon | Northern Virginia Children’s Photographer

I spent a November morning at Mt. Vernon with this little lady and her parents.  We had a great time walking around the grounds and exploring George Washington’s home.  This was my first session at Mt. Vernon and it is a beautiful location for photos.  Thanks for a fun morning!  Enjoy! –Sally

P.S. Here is the link from the sneak peek.

Big Brother-to-be | Northern Virginia Family photographer

This little guy is a big brother now.  He has a new baby sister who I can’t wait to meet.  Thanks for a fun maternity/family session.  I look forward to meeting your new little one.  Enjoy! –Sally

Facebook | Northern Virginia Photographer

I’m on Facebook and would love to keep up with you there (hint, hint).  You can find my business page here. If you aren’t on Facebook I highly encourage you to check it out.  I’ve found long-lost friends from elementary school and am able to keep up with family and friends scattered all over the world.  I do warn you it is highly addictive though!  :) Enjoy! –Sally

Mom and Daughters | Old Town Alexandria Family Photographer

In December I met up with this mom and daughter group for some casual portraits.  It was so fun to watch them interact, the way they joked and told funny stories about each other.  They were naturals for the camera too, which made it so easy for me!  :)  Thanks for a great morning.  Enjoy, Sally

Happy New Year! | Northern Virginia Photographer

I had a wonderful holiday break and hope you did too. Over Christmas I spent some time in Montana enjoying the snow (and boy was it cold!), taking a trip out to Yellowstone (see below), and visiting family. Thank you to all my clients for a wonderful year. It has been such a blessing to be a part of your lives. I can’t wait to see what 2009 has in store!
