I’m a lifestyle photographer,
I want to capture your personality … the warmth of your family and friends.
Go outside and play in the mud. Stay in to cuddle your baby in your pj’s. Don’t worry about straightening things up. (I capture you and yours, not the clutter of your busy days.)
Pick your favorite hangout–the spot where you fell in love, the park where your kids play for hours, the backyard where friends and family gather, the place where your husband proposed. This is your story.
Express yourself. Give in to emotion. Laugh out loud and often. Cry a little. Don’t be shy. Do what you feel like. Just be yourself.
These moments are what I watch for, these are what I capture through the lens of my camera. I get to know you and you get to know me. We’re in this together, enjoying this chapter as it unfolds.
From baby’s shaky early steps to celebrating that long-awaited diploma. From the romance of your new engagement to the sticky kisses from your wriggly toddler. Your child’s first birthday to grandmother’s 90th and everything in between.
But some of my favorite work is unexpected. Maybe we say “we’re finished,” we’re walking back to the car–your uptight grandpa has long since relaxed, your teenage daughter is no longer thinking about putting on a perfect smile. Then that magical something occurs–and my camera is ready.
Real life story to treasured art
But I don’t just take quick photos. Anyone can snap a picture. My degree in art enables me to give careful attention to the elements of art and composition. And I take advantage of the ambience and changeability of natural light both indoors and out to add depth and richness.
Then there’s my experience with my own family and friends–documenting the cookie icing all over the kitchen and on my children’s smiling faces, our guilty dog caught with a steak stolen from the grill, two rescued kittens nuzzling my husband and stealing his heart. So, I have plenty of experience (and practice) capturing magical moments in my own life story.
Now it’s your turn …
I want your images to be not only valuable keepsakes recording your story, but artphotos …
Treasured pieces of art documenting your family history, revealing your loving relationships.
Precious images to hand down from generation to generation.
But time passes quickly
With everyday “busyness,” this chapter of your life soon will be only a fading memory for you, your family and your friends. Book your session now, and I will help you turn these precious moments into your memorable artwork before it’s too late.
I aim to make your photo shoot experience another one of your cherished memories.
I’m looking forward to getting to know you!
P.S. Book your session before the fall rush. Call or email me now and let me help you keep your memories for all times.
